Fictive cover of the New Yorker Magazine. I decided to work on what is happening in Turkey at the moment.
“Endlessly shared on social media and recreated as artwork on posters and stickers, the image - dubbed ‘The Woman in Red’ - has become the leitmotif for female protesters at recent violent anti-government riots in Istanbul.” - MailOnline
Love today.

The thing that is so awesome about this book is that it can be read in literally 45 minutes. The thing that is even more genius is that it gives you great advice. So, if you haven’t read it, I would suggest picking up a copy and gobbling it up.
Came across these posters online tonight. They are part of the campaign “Safe World” of the Public Health Institute of Vojvodina (Serbia) that was aimed at raising awareness at public schools. The eye-catching colours are amazingly used and the simple layout get’s the message through quite quickly. Here are my four favourites. The first poster is for alcohol, the second is for swimming and public beaches, the third is for time spent on the internet and it’s dangers and the fourth is for firecracker injuries.

Today would have been Saul Bass’ birthday. As one of my favourite graphic designer’s, and one of my greatest inspirations, he must have his place on this blog. So give it up for Saul Bass and his incredible work!
Work in progress. Poster designs based on The Streets song “Don’t Mug Yourself”.
